Salmonella outbreak linked to Harvest Creek nuggets

Canada’s Public Health Agency has linked a recent salmonella outbreak to frozen chicken products.Harvest Creek chicken nuggets with a best before date of Oct. 11, 2018 are being recalled.The nuggets are sold in Ontario and eastern Canada.The outbreak was first reported in September with 13 people sick in four provinces.According to the federal agency 30 people, including 17 in Ontario, reported eating the nuggets before getting sick.People are being reminded to use safe practices when handling, preparing and cooking poultry. read more
